Where has the year gone? It feels like it was just February. With springtime suddenly here, we’re finding ourselves in the usual scramble to get our stuff together for one of our favorite holidays: Mother’s Day.
You’ll hear a lot of this-and-that about the best gifts for mom; our Mother’s Day gift guide, however, is authentic, genuine, and straight from the source – our expert team of jewelry specialists.
How to Shop for a Mom Who Deserves the World
The beauty behind giving a gift – what you choose often ends up being a reflection of your innermost self. Our best advice? Try not to make your innermost self look too tacky for mama this year. A tall task, especially when on a budget, but not impossible with the help of our Mother’s Day gift guide.
We may be biased, but the focal point of the gift should be something with lasting value – most of our customers, naturally, will choose a piece of jewelry as the gesture’s centerpiece. Why stop there, though?
Feel free to accentuate the main gift with smaller offerings, like freshly-picked flowers, a travel-size roller-ball of her favorite perfume (a great accompaniment to a tennis bracelet, in our humble opinion), homemade treats, or anything else that will put a smile on her face. This will extend the gift, allowing her to savor it more without necessarily breaking the bank on your end.
Our Mother’s Day Gift Guide: Springtime Jewelry She Will Adore
Mikimoto literally does not produce a single item we don’t like, making their wares more than a safe bet for Mother’s Day. These pearl drop earrings in 18k pink gold are beyond feminine, the ultimate visual delicacy.
Birthstone jewelry is another classic way to make it her own – is there anything cuter than a pair of studs commemorating the month of her birth?
Answer: possibly – sterling silver jewelry, like this diamond monogram pendant also by Tacori, will leave an impression that won’t be forgotten any time soon.
Rounding out the list: engravings, one of our favorite ways to truly personalize a piece. A necklace engraved with her initials, for example, or even a ring with your birthday and the birthdays of your siblings would also be an appropriate choice for Mother’s Day.
